Caracaras
Caracaras usually walk while scavenging or searching for food. These falcons
have a narrow face, large beak without notches on the beak, slit-shaped
nostrils with an inner bony peg, and weak feet with blunt talons. Caracaras
reside in the Western Hemisphere and are the only falcons to build stick nests.
