Osprey
The Osprey family contains only one species which is found worldwide near bodies of
water. It has long, narrow wings that allow it to hover and then plunge into the water to
catch its prey. An Osprey can completely close its nostrils while underwater, has an outer
toe that can face forward or backward, and rough pads on its feet to hold slippery fish.
