Live bird presentations at the World Center for Birds of Prey

A highlight of any visit to the World Center for Birds of Prey is a live bird presentation. Guests are treated to an encounter with a raptor on a bird handler's glove. During these 20-minute presentations, we discuss the unique physical and behavioral adaptations of the bird and review its conservation status. Presentations are geared to the ability level of the audience and are appropriate for all ages.

Species you may encounter include: American Kestrel, Aplomado Falcon, Peregrine Falcon, Swainson’s Hawk, Verreaux's Eagle-owl, or Red-tailed Hawk. Meet our birds!

Three bird presentations are conducted Tuesday - Sunday at 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the presentation.
