Biologists for The Peregrine Fund recently discovered
the Madagascar Pochard (Aythya innotata), a
medium-sized diving duck that was considered extinct by
many authorities until this current sighting.The following photos were taken in
Madagascar. They may be
used if proper credit is given to The Peregrine Fund and
the photographer listed with each photo.
