  • The Peregrine Fund has assisted/advised on conservation of the Philippine Eagle since the 1970s.
  • Requested by the Philippine government and conservation organizations for assistance. (Late 1980s)
  • Two PEF biologists and a veterinarian trained at the World Center for Birds of Prey, Boise. (1993)
  • Release to the wild of the first captive-bred eagle. (2004)
  • PEF biologist Jayson Ibanez trained in Boise and Panama in field research methods. (2007)
  • PEF biologist Jayson Ibanez participated in annual planning in Boise. (2008)
  • First Philippine Eagles released after rehabilitation following injury or confiscation. (2010)
