World Center for Birds of Prey plans special activities for Scouts on Saturday, February 2

BOISE, Idaho – Scavenger hunts and other special activities for Scouts will be held at The Peregrine Fund’s World Center for Birds of Prey on Saturday, February 2. The regular admission price will be reduced by $2 for Scouts and their leaders.

Boy Scouts, Wolf Scouts, Bear Scouts, Webelo Scouts, and all levels of Girl Scouts will enjoy activities that meet the requirements for Merit Badges and Girl Scout Badges. Scouts who complete their activity also will receive a free 2013 Birds of Prey calendar.

When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, February 2

Where: World Center for Birds of Prey, 5668 W. Flying Hawk Lane

Admission: $3 youth (4-16), $4 senior Scout leaders, $5 adult Scout leaders

Live bird presentations: 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m.

Driving directions: From I-84, take Cole Road exit and continue south on Cole Road for 6 miles to Flying Hawk Lane.

Non-Scout visitors will be charged regular admission that day: $7 general, $6 senior, $5 youth (4-16 years).
